SGAC is Sydney's leading leisure venue and on the search for a full-time Pool Operations Coordinator! Our busy indoor Aquatic Centre is bathed in natural light, spacious and modern, creating an ideal environment for swimmers and team members alike. Currently, we attract 3,400 learn to swim students every week, over 5000 students annually through our schools program and 70,000 visitors a year!
The Pool Operations Coordinator will assist the Aquatics Manager with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the SGAC Aquatic Centre is effectively operated, maintained, and utilised. The role will lead a team of pool technical operators & lifeguards to provide vigilant supervision and patron safety of pool users, undertaking water testing to ensure water quality & compliance, operating plant and equipment and general maintenance and cleaning of the entire SGAC precinct as directed.
The Coordinator is expected to assist in a leadership capacity demonstrating outstanding customer service to our customers and demonstrate effective people management. The Pool Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the SGAC leadership team to plan and implement the Aquatic Centre's facility hire and event bookings, to assist income targets.

Sydney Gymnastic and Aquatic Centre (SGAC) in Rooty Hill is one of the largest purpose-built gymnastics facilities in the southern hemisphere with Olympic-standard equipment provided by Janssen-Fritsen as well as two 25m swimming pools heated at 28°C and 32°C respectively. Our comprehensive range of programs cater to a wide variety of needs, ages and abilities.
The dynamic growth of Rooty Hill RSL formed the basis of West HQ, which resulted in facilities like Zone Bowling, Sydney West Sports Medicine and Novotel Sydney West HQ, making the destination their home. From an RSL constructed on two suburban building blocks, West HQ now covers about nine hectares (20 acres).
As West HQ, we hope to continue to provide services to our 60,000 members as we continue to grow as the leading landmark destination for entertainment, fitness, lifestyle, and accommodation in the Greater Western Sydney region.
